Our dance classes are adaptive dance. Our curriculum and the dances we teach are modified to accommodate our dancers and meet their unique needs.

In a class session we will work one or more genres of dance: ballet, tap, contemporary or improvisation and we have recently added rhythm dances, flamenco and tango (all modified). Dancers will enjoy the creativity, the fun and the joy of moving and working together to create dances and shows.

All are welcome to our accepting, friendly, non-competitive environment.

Classes run approximately one hour.

Entrance directly into the Joy Room is to the left (around the corner) of the main entrance to the studio.

Dance clothing for class:

For the ladies/girls: leotard*, tights or leggings, dance skirt (optional), ballet slippers, tap shoes

For gentlemen/boys: dance t-shirt*, black leggings, ballet slippers, tap shoes

*or t-shirt with leggings

Each dancer is to bring his/her own bottled water and personal hand sanitizer to class.

Note for charter schools: All instruction is non-sectarian.
